AHHHH October!
I adore this time of year and am feeling so blessed to be here in the forests in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest of the US, experiencing the fabulous color changes! I lived in here for 14 years in the past and owned 1 of the 1st Yoga studios here in Bend, Oregon.....Shanti Yoga Studio! It's been closed since 2003 but it's still LEGEND!
It's been so wonderful being here again after a long time away. As the colors of the leaves change, I reflect on how much my life has changed when I moved from Bend in 2003. I then, lived in Santa, NM for 10 years and in 2012, I gave into my nomadic tendencies and started traveling instead of living a conventional life. I have never been happier with my decision! I feel so free! I have met so many incredible people around the world and have had so many amazing offers to teach in equally amazing places!
In 2012, I left the Land of Enchantment, for the sacred lands of the ancient Mayans in the what was then a small village on the Caribbean in the Mayan Riviera. I fell in LOVE with this area of the world, with it's spicy food, brilliant colors, compassionate people, ancient cultures and ruins and cenotes.....I was immediately whisked into this magic world, meeting just the right people at just the right times. One woman working in a boutique hotel that I offered my talents at, responded lovingly to me saying, "We have been waiting for you!" That's when I knew the magic was happening and I was in right place at the right time!
I keep returning to Tulum, Mexico. It is a sacred land that keeps calling me hOMe. I'm excited to return there this winter (December - February) to teach classes + open a pop up Ayurvedic Spa at
Yoga Shala Tulum! I'm collaborating with friends and we are planning sOMe retreats there this winter so stay tuned!

I never would have imagined myself speaking in front of large groups of people in a convention style space. But life leads us into unknown waters and unexpected places sometimes.
I want to share a deep honor with you. I was contacted by doTERRA's east coast event planner who said doTERRA wanted to recognize me for the work I have been doing with doTERRA by having me host one of their post convention tour events in my hometown of Warwick, Rhode Island!
I was told that I am one of the highest ranking leaders in RI, and that doTERRA wanted to give me and my RI OIL TRIBE (my team in RI) an opportunity to represent doTERRA in our state on November 6th!
I was speechless! And that is saying something for me because I usually always have something to say!
I couldn't even give him a definite answer! But it only took a day for the information to sink into my brain!
YES! Of course, my team and I are completely honored to host this event!
